Island Optical is fully Australian Owned & Operated unlike Specsavers which has its international head office overseas.  We have been helping and caring for Tasmanians since  1990 .  Our 2 busy stores are conveniently located in the population centres of Hobart and Launceston. We are renowned for our friendly professional service at value prices.

Island Optical is a  full service optical store with instore optometrists and Qualified Optical Dispensers at each of the locations. We stock international and in-house brands of glasses together with international brands of contact lenses and solutions at great prices.
